My Wealth

(After William Blake)

All my wealth, who made thee?

Dost thou know who made thee?

With the bucks I got from Dad,

invest I poor in real estate.

Money died as fast as fad,

but Dad was there to save my fate.

All my wealth, who made thee?

Dost thou know who made thee?

….

All my wealth, I’ll tell thee.

All my wealth, I’ll tell thee.

My dad now high in sky,

he made thee on the sly.

Oh, how quick my cash went flat.

Must get more from laundromat.

All my wealth, I am the Pres, now don’t you see.

All my wealth, emoluments now come to me.
